Do not fear

"For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you, declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel."

When I read this early this morning I though...ahhh...what a beautiful picture!!!! I thought of REB and I and how I sometimes will hold her hand to help her take those tall steps, or to keep her safe in the parking lots, or just anywhere where I feel like she needs my help. She doesn't have to ask me for help, I know what she can or can't do.

God does the same with us. He takes hold of our right hand and if you picture that, it is truly a gentle, loving and merciful God who loves us so unconditionally and knows what we can or can't handle and is saying to us in a loving and gentle voice, "Do not fear; I will help you."

Such a beautiful picture! Thank you LORD for holding our hand and leading us and helping us! I love you so much. Remind me of this as I go about my day today~

Shane and Shane

They were in Tulsa again and of course I would not miss it for the world :) Matt had a class that evening so REB stayed with a good friend of mine. I had a nice dinner with my friend Danee and we then headed to the concert where we met with my Shanaic friend, Ashley and her hubby;) Ahhh...I had so much fun! I love their music.
