Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
This is Rebekah's memory verse right now. We ask her, "can you say your verse?" and most of the times she will go ahead and say it. The other day she said it without us even asking her and she got a treat for that :)
This is the first verse we have worked on so far, but it shows us how much she can actually grasp at such a young age and what better thing than for her to have His Word written/hidden in her heart.
One thing that Rebekah also loves to do is sing. I have sung hymns to her ever since she was in the belly and she loves to sing. She will ask me, "mama, sing" and we will just sing with a joyful hearts. She loves the hymn Trust and Obey although she only knows the chorus. It is so amazing how fast she learns them. She also knows all the words to a song that is really special to us called, "Special to me." It is so cute!

cute! so special! mattie's mawmaw taught her "jesus jesus sweetest name i know" when she was 1 yrs old. she would say, "jesus jesus jesus sweeno". ryder loves "michael row your boat ashore" and "zacheus" - the part where jesus says, "you come down" is his favorite.
you look sooo pretty and happy and excited all rolled up in one! will be praying for safety during the rest of the pregnancy and birth!
